Our impromptu pleasant visit to Hot Lava Springs on our return from Yellowstone Parks to Salt Lake City was doubled up with our chance visit to Himalayan Food Truck. The food was delicious and authentic to say the least. They served the good will love and warm smiles. We ordered vegetarian combo and tikka momos, they tasted with perfect spice and flavors. Highly recommend!

For such a small operation, this place packs really big flavors! Especially the momos, which were easily on par with some of the best we’ve had at restaurants in major metropolitan areas across the country. The fellas running the place were also very friendly, generous, and quick to fix a mistake with our order. (That was all our fault, btw!). We will definitely return on future visits to Lava, and by then they’ll hopefully have a just a bit more seating and slightly better visibility since the deserve all the business they can get!

Omg! Such a wonderful find! The food was spectacular and the service was impeccable! You’ve got to try the mango lassi and the chicken tikka. Very tasty!
