I’ve stopped at Monkey Business multiple times, usually when they’re parked over at Veterans Freedom Boat Club Landing on the north side of La Crosse, and the food has been consistently excellent every time. The staff is always friendly, the service is quick, and honestly, I look forward to getting my regular order. My go-to is the Backwoods BBQ sandwich — grilled sourdough, barbecue, and all-around comfort food done right — usually paired with the garlic cheese curds. If you see one of the yellow Monkey Business trucks parked somewhere around the Coulee Region, it’s worth stopping. Good people and great food.

I had Monkey Business for the first time last weekend and let me tell ya!! For one, the guys were so nice and helpful with the menu and gave me some background on who they are, but the food was the star of the show! I got a grilled cheese and fries with dill pickle ranch.. the Wisconsin cheese was so gooey (in the best way) and the homemade ranch was sooooooo good! My girl got a veggie wrap which to my surprise was the freshest thing I ate all week! It also had the perfect kick to it.. who knew you could get something that fresh from a food truck?! And last but not least my nephew got lava fries! If you like spicy, cheesy, hearty French fries, this one’s for you. Overall I would highly recommend and I can’t wait to try more on their menu!

The absolute best event food I’ve ever had! Visited this food truck for country boom in la crosse and loved the food and service! If they had a food truck in my city, I would follow them around town. 10/10.

Seriously the best food truck I have ever had! The fries are amazing and all the sandwiches are soooo good! The people are extremely nice and personable.
