Sweet Smoke BBQ is hands down THE BEST BBQ PLACE IN MKE. I’ve been to plenty of other places in the area that serve up dusty/dry and shredded brisket that must be sauced to choke down, it is seems like they can’t figure out what they’re doing. So disappointing. Sweet Smoke serves their Brisket sliced to order, tender & juicy, full slices that hold onto the bark, and a smoke ring to attest to its presence without being overpowering. Choice of lean, fatty (aka wet, marbled), or a mix of both - served with pickled onions, pickles, signature sauce, & thick sliced white bread. 1/2 or a full pound- so, so good. I keep coming back since finding them. Working on trying all the sides- so far decent cornbread muffins & awesome Texas style chili with a bag of Fritos, going for the Kimchi-Mac.n.cheese next. Their pulled pork is also a winner but I can’t stop ordering their brisket! Today’s special pork belly biscuit with peach-pepper jelly is 11/10! I should have got another. Coming back tomorrow for their pastrami Reuben & smoked turkey Rachel’s- I’m not scared of bad weather, just missing out on another treat from Sweet Smoke.

Wowwww it really is that good! I saw a foodie post about it on TikTok and yeah, it’s fantastic. The pork belly is wonderful, and the jalapeño peach jam is tasty…it just needs a little more kick as I did not get pick up any spicy flavor. Such friendly appreciative staff too. Don’t skip out on Hawthorne Coffee Roasters nearby too!

Came here after lilwaukees recommendation. WOWWW the brisket was so juicy, the ribs were fall off the bone and the pickles and sauce were so tangy. I don’t prefer a sweet bbq sauce so it was great. And the freaking pork belly biscuit was insaneeeee. Me and fam have had a lot of bbq in Tennessee and Alabama and around south and honestly this shits on it. Pls go here

It's a food truck outside of Enlightened Brewing Company, so we were able to take the food in and have a few drinks with the delicious BBQ Platter! Everything was top notch, tender flavorful brisket and pork. Also highly recommended the corn cake, yes not corn bread corn cake. Will definitely be back!

It had always been hard to find good BBQ in Milwaukee until the arrival of Sweet Smoke. What a game changer. The power couple behind the Q provides some of the most tender delicious meats in the Midwest. Sweet Smoke worked with us to cater our wedding at Enlightened Brewing. They were professional, courteous, and thoughtful. They provided an all-star menu of pulled pork, brisket, pork belly bao buns (yes, that's a thing they do) and some of the most mouth watering burnt ends I have ever had. I addition, their sides (cucumber salad, bean salad, scrumptious corn bread to name a few), paired well with the main attraction. Next time you have a hankering for some Q, I highly suggest stopping by Sweet Smoke.
