Grilled Talapia Po'boy was excellent! Also had the Fried Shrimp Basket and the Crab Balls. Very Tasty!

Came to visit Galveston and was craving some good fried shrimp on the way to our camping spot. Called in here and it was ready in 5 minutes. SO GOOD! The menu is not updated with pricing on maps so I did pay $18 for my shrimp basket instead of $13 on the previously listed menu. But highly recommend. Super good and super fast. Also, very nice guy runs it.

Howdy! We ordered the fired catfish basket, shrimp po-boy sandwich (not in the picture), and onion rings. The fried catfish and shrimp ppo-boy were exquisite! The batter was full of flavor, crunchy, and the taste of the catfish! Fabulous onion rings! Good day mate!

A taco is priced at $6 with cabbage and toppings. It had a yummy sauce. 3 out of 6. Good, but I have definitely had better. The box with fried shrimps and fries was yummy. I topped it with the sauce and relish to get a good bite. They butterfly the shrimp and fry it with this batter on it. Not too thin or thick. The batter itself doesn't have much flavor, but the oil tastes as though it has been through quite some rounds. It seasons it a bit. The relish was also not too sweet or acidic. It made for a yummy combo in a bite. I like the concept, but presentation and seasoning need some work. Also- I enjoy yummy eats and rate this based on my experience and personal flavor preferences. So, I'd take it lightly π

Consistently well executed for any items out of the fryer ( I haven't tried the grilled items on any of my visits but they are offered and reportedly good as well). Shrimp - are probably around a 25 count, so if you're looking for larger shrimp in truck format, check Darlene's. Always cooked properly and are sweet and snappy. Panko / bread crumb coating. Fish - Either tilapia or catfish, same as shrimp on execution and breading. Tacos - directionally "baja style" with napa. These are probably my favorite menu item. Gumbo - milder roux and flavor. I personally prefer darker and spicier but if this is your style, good.
