Got the deep fried musubi with poke on top. The spam musubi itself was fine, but that batter was extremely dense and hard to bite through. Not light and crispy like nana ai katsu’s deep fried musubis. The poke wasn’t that great either, as it was still partially frozen.

The food is good. I ate before I got a chance to take a photo. I did two seafood plate for $20. I got garlic shrimp and ahi katzu. Portion was so big I’m saving the rest of the ahi Katzu for dinner. Long line, worth the wait. Food came out within a few minutes. Phenomenal food and service. So happy I stumbled upon them for lunch today on my way home. Plate came with potato salad and rice.

Ordered the Seafood Salad (ahi & salmon katsu, garlic shrimp) for $18. The garlic shrimp with mayonnaise was absolutely delicious. I’m a garlic-fiend, but the flavors were well-balanced here, never overpowering. Leaving the shell & tail on added to the flavor - no need to peel - just eat them whole. The ahi & salmon katsu was also yummy, but I might just ask them to grill them instead. The salad base was perfect; rice, instead, would likely induce food coma. Note that they are also open on most weekdays and some Saturdays for lunch. I'll be back to try more items on their menu.
