👥 2 pax on weekday after 3:30pm, called in order 🍽️ Kalua pork slider, kalua pork tacos, blackened mahi taco 💵 approx. $15 per person Fantastic flavours for a great price point, definitely recommend the kalua pork menu items. Mahi mahi fell slightly short of expectations in texture and flavour, but was good nonetheless. Will definitely be back to try some more of their menu items. Outdoor seating may feel a bit hot and humid given the compactness. We went past 3:30pm and had our pick of seats, however queues can form around lunch time rush. Would definitely call in or put in an order online ahead of time if you’re hoping to dine during peak hours.

Just off the main street hidden in an alleyway, this place is a must stop honestly. I had an incredible Pesto Tofu slider, my buddies had tacos and a burger. The service was awesome, staff is incredibly kind and welcoming. Ask for the homemade habanero sauce, they offered it to us and suggested dipping fries in it. Everything was so so good. Also had the pineapple lemonade, it’s fresh and ice cold.

Super good pulled pork. Great mix of crispy and tender. We loved the pulled pork fries, slider, and tacos and would definitely be back! The horchata was a little disappointing but not a deal breaker. The seating can be a little tight and also smoky in the alley but you can easily move closer to the street for some fresher air.

Food was really good for being such a busy food truck as you sometimes see quality fall off because they are trying to push out food, but that was not the case for pitstop. We did wait a good 30 minutes for a food on top of the 10 to 20 minutes waiting in line so definitely be prepared to wait but personally, I think it’s a place you should stop at when you’re in the area. The prices were definitely not hateful, especially for such a touristy area which you would expect to pay a good amount for food anyways. The fries were really good as well as everything has solid flavor. I will say the Horchata felt a bit watered down, but I might be biased, considering I’m going off of traditional Horchata flavor of the Latin countries. Regardless everything else was good quality and fresh would definitely stop by again. The pictures aren’t the best of quality since it was nighttime and we were also Tryna enjoy the food since we waited so long for it and it smelled really good. I did enjoy the pork slider and fries as well as their in house hot sauce, which were in these nice Lalo bottles. The guy taking our orders which I think is the owner was very nice and offered great suggestions as well as tips on how he likes to eat everything and was really down to earth, even through the busy environment.

Another day trip to Oahu meant trying to find a new place to eat. I remember seeing an Instagram reel about this food truck and decided to go for it. It is tucked away in an alley and you can easily miss it especially with the construction going on at the moment on the surrounding buildings. Went simple with just their burger, a horchata and a side of slaw. That messy looking burger is honestly the best I’ve ever had anywhere. Flavors were so balanced and the side of house made slaw had the right about of sour acidity to keep the juicy fatty burger in check. I thought I was going to hate the sweet Hawaiian bun used for it but it worked so well with the patty and cheese and everything else inside. I wanted to order another burger but I had to restrain myself because I had other places to try. Even after flying home the next day I couldn’t help but crave that burger.
