Well earned reputation! All the food was tasty but the Indonesian fried rice stood out as particularly delicious. the dishes we ordered could all be customized for different spice levels and proteins. the owner went out of her way to dry off a table for us while managing multiple orders.

Bumbu is such a gem of a food truck — authentic Asian food with amazing Indonesian dishes that instantly made me nostalgic. I lived in Indonesia for a couple of years, and the flavors here genuinely brought back memories of eating local food there. Everything tasted fresh, flavorful, and homemade. You can tell the food is made with care and authenticity. Definitely one of the best spots if you’re craving real Indonesian comfort food. Highly recommend checking them out!

SO GOOD! The food lived up to the high reviews of others. My bf and I were driving out the hot springs and found this spot online for a quick grab and go. I noticed our arrival time was going to be just after their closing hours and I called ahead and they were very accommodating and said will have no problem waiting the 5 minutes for me! The food was a huge portion and so tasty! We got the Indonesian fried noodles with chicken and the martabek telur but I don’t think you can go wrong with anything on the menu!

I don't like to leave low-rating reviews, but this food truck is WAY overpriced for what you get. I was aware of the prices when we ordered, but was expecting something worth the price. What we got was simple & standard. My wife ordered "Indonesian Fried Rice", which was basically fried rice with minuscule veggies and chicken....literally just basic fried rice for $16. I ordered the Tom Yum soup (Thai sour soup) for $13.50, some Martabak Telur (3 pieces of ground beef, onion, & fried egg wrapped in a pastry and fried) for $11. Oh, and then I ordered an "Indonesian Coffee", which I was expecting to be exotic, but was instead "3-in-1 powdered instant coffee" for $4.50! This stuff costs .20 cents in Indonesia, and it tasted horrible. The menu states "Indonesian Luwak coffee mixed with cream and sugar", but fails to mention it is just pre-mixed powdered coffee. Anyway, my soup was ok, my wife's fried rice was simple and a little bland, and the Martabak Telur was ok.....and the bill came to $51! If my wife had ordered the hot Matcha Green Tea Latte for another $4.50 (also probably just a pre-sweetened powdered mix) we would have spent over $60 with a tip. Really, I support local business and know the owner is just trying to make a living, but what we got for the money we spent, and had to stand in line to order, and then sit in a cold tent to eat it....this isn't a sit down restaurant, you know. I doubt her rent is the same as a large restaurant... By comparison, the next night we at at the Mexican place next to the La Quinta, and we had double the amount of food, it was better, we were inside and served, and the bill came out slightly less.

It's a food truck before I go in any details yes they do have tables and chairs to dine in open. Lately I have been dining here whenever I am in glenwood springs. Young people run this place and they really cook it well. I tried the shrimp fried and that's absolute best The quantity is generous and be careful with choosing spice level. They normal spice level is sufficient enough for normal people lol
