505 in Fruita = straight-up green chile happiness 🌶️ I went with the Hatch green chile chile relleno with all green chile 🌶️ Wyatt got the chile relleno “Christmas” style — half red, half green — plus the chile cheese fries, which were an absolute home run 🤤🍟 They also had a cool little sign explaining the difference between New Mexican and Mexican food. Things like Hatch green chile, sopapillas, carne adovada, stacked enchiladas, and flour tortillas are more New Mexican style… while Mexican food leans more toward mole, carne asada, rolled enchiladas, corn tortillas, cilantro, and seafood. Pretty neat little info for us food lovers 🌶️😎 If see the 505 truck, definitely worth the stop. Just my opinion… but dang it’s good 🙌 — eating Mexican food with Wyatt Kendall and 505 Fix Food Truck at Base Camp Provisions.

We were a group of 7 with several vegetarians. WOW! Every menu item had protein options, including vegetarian! The chili replenish tasted great and was crispy! We tried a variety of food and loved it. The rice and beans both had good flavor. We will be back!

If I could I would give these folks 100 stars for service. They sold out of chicken, not once, but twice in the same evening! As my luck would have it, I, of course, just barely missed out, twice... a few moments after I had left the second time, the gentleman, I assume the owner, found me and surprised me with the most delicious chicken green chili enchilada I have ever had!! You guys are truly amazing and your food is absolutely delicious!!

This is a bite of my childhood. Jason and Julia are the absolute nicest, and their food is a true taste of New Mexico. We have it at least once a week, and Grand Junction is lucky to have a food truck of this caliber with good people who care this much about the flavor, quality, and authenticity of their food and the building community with their patrons. We feel like we’re part of the family!
