Ok I was expecting way worse bc of the comments but the birria ramen did what I wanted it to. Could’ve been spicier but I liked it with the salsas and limes and cilantro. ~$17 is a lot but there was a decent amount of meat.

For $19.29 I ordered the taco dinner. I got 3 underwhelming tacos with little flavor, a side of beans that tasted like they were beginning to spoil and hard, chewy rice that was definitely old. I got a side of green salsa and a red, tiny cup of consome. Not salsa, consome. Not sure why. No avocado as advertised. These were, by far, the worst tacos I've ever had. Save your $20 and go literally anywhere else.

Not usually one to leave reviews but the steak torta was really underwhelming. The bread was very stale and the amount of avocado was minimal at best. The meat was tough/dry and has pieces throughout that you couldn’t chew.

If you're downtown and craving some solid Mexican street food, Caseras Sabor Real is a solid pick. I grabbed 3 tacos—al pastor, steak, and chicken, plus a corn cup. Tacos were flavorful, and the corn had that perfect mix of mayo, cheese, and chili powder. Quick service, friendly staff. Only downside? Limited seating, so be ready to eat on the go. Overall, spent about $20 and left satisfied.
