Angadi Indian Food Truck is a must-visit for anyone seeking an incredible and authentic meal. The Chicken 65 was a particular standout—remarkably juicy and tender with a perfect blend of spices that provided immense flavor without being overly spicy. The Masala Dosa paired with their delicious sambar was equally impressive, and the Punugulu added a great texture to the spread. Topping it all off, the Masala Tea served as the perfect "cherry on top," rounding out a truly satisfying dining experience.

I understand that the staff member needed some time to take my order, as he was attending to other customers over the phone, which is reasonable. However, as this is a food truck, I expected the pricing to be more aligned with the portion size and overall quality of the food. This was my second visit to a food truck in the Apex area. On this occasion, I ordered Chicken Vijayawada Biryani, which cost $16.81 including tax. In my view, this price point is quite high for what was offered. On a previous visit, I ordered a curry leaf chicken appetizer; the portion size was small, and the chicken texture was tough and rubbery, despite costing $16. In comparison, one of the best takeout order experiences I’ve had in the Raleigh area is at Inis Kitchen. Their dum biryani is priced at $9.99, and other chicken biryani options are around $13.99, with noticeably better taste and value. I would strongly encourage the food truck operator to better understand customer expectations around pricing, portion size, and quality.

Response from owner

Thank you for sharing your feedback—we really appreciate you taking the time to explain your experience. We completely understand your concerns about pricing, portion size, and quality. At the same time, we’d like to share a bit of our perspective. Over the past few years, the cost of groceries, meats, spices, and overall operations has increased significantly. Running a food truck doesn’t necessarily mean we can offer food at lower prices—our costs for sourcing quality ingredients and preparing fresh, made-to-order meals are quite high. That said, we’ve carefully considered our pricing to balance quality, portion, and sustainability of the business. We never want our customers to feel disappointed, so your feedback on portion size and texture is genuinely helpful, and we will take it seriously to improve. We truly value your support and hope you’ll give us another opportunity to serve you better in the future.

I recently visited this food truck and had a great experience! The food was fresh, flavorful, and served hot and it was absolutely delicious—perfectly seasoned and well-prepared. The service was quick and friendly. The staff were welcoming and made sure everything was just right. Prices were reasonable for the quality and portion size. Overall, it’s a fantastic spot for a quick and tasty meal. I’ll definitely be coming back and highly recommend it to anyone looking for good street food!

Chicken noodle was good but too expensive at $12.5. Actual price is higher than what is posted on the menu board. Samoosa chat was so so. The spice level is higher than anticipated. It would be safe to ask spice level one level below. Atmosphere was good. Wait time is longer.

Response from owner

Thank you so much for your 4-star review! 🌟 We’re glad you enjoyed the chicken noodles and truly appreciate your feedback on the samosa chaat and spice level—we’ll be happy to adjust it to your taste next time. Regarding pricing, the menu reflects our actual prices, and we also have a note at the register about the 3.5% card processing fee. As a small local business, we hope you’ll understand—it helps us keep bringing you fresh food and good flavors. Thanks again for your support, and we look forward to serving you soon! 🙏

If you are looking for a morning breakfast over the weekend this is one of the best places I would say. The poori we ordered was so good soft and fluffy. Prices are reasonable and service is quick. Would recommend this place for fast food and the management is always willing to accept feedback and positive.
