(Update) one of the few places I will order from post corona. They wear gloves and masks and have taken things seriously /end Wonderful local cafe with fresh deserts and tasty coffee. Beautiful interior with high detailed ceiling and large windows. A nice place to sit and enjoy an afternoon (on the rare day when it isn’t busy). There is a nice selection of soups sandwiches and sides. My favorite is the curry chicken sandwich and sesame noodle salad. The service is friendly and helpful. My only complaint is that the sandwiches are premade so sometimes the bread gets soggy.

We stumbled into the place while walking down Main Street! They have a great selection of baked goods! We decided on the mountain eclair which was fabulous👍! We actually took it home and had it as a desert after dinner! We shared it and could not finish it the first night 😳

We first came to this bakery a year ago, and it was so delicious, we came back again this year! The Mountain Eclair, Cookies, Truffles and Double Chocolate Macaroon were awesome! I also like to wash my dessert down with their fresh lemonade!

Visited here four times during my stay in Asheville which only goes to show how GREAT this bakery is. A short drive from where we were staying and always a delight. From the very friendly staff who immediately greet you as you enter, to the enquire coffee, and then onto the most amazing cakes and cookies I have ever tasted. Well-Bred Bakery produces food which is quite frankly out of this world, and I hope I get one more opportunity to visit before we leave here. I suggest you make a visit here whenever you can, and as often as you can. My recommendations would be the following (yes I had all of these) the coffee roulade, ginger cookies, espresso, chocolate fudge brownie, carrot cake, peanut butter cheesecake, shortbread, lemon roulade and giant eclair.
