Tucked away in a little side parking lot is this wonderful and authentic Mexican food truck. We ordered the quesabirra tacos with a side of consome and the food came out fairly quick. While the tacos were delicious, the texture was on the soggier side. This is was a little disappointing as the other times I’ve been here the tacos are nice and crunchy. The consome was not too salty and has a deep and rich flavor to it. Overall this is a great little hole in the wall that is perfect for either a late night dinner or if you just crave some delicious food.

As a general rule, I don’t write reviews. I figure there’s enough people in the world who have a great experience that they can articulate far better than I can unless it’s something Exceptional in either direction in this case, If you want a great burrito with fresh “asada” you may be disappointed! The tortilla was old the meat looked as it it’s been out for days. You know how if you’ve ever eaten a burrito when you walked into the restaurant and they’re preparing and they’re cleaning off “griddle” the meat almost looks like it’s see-through where the oil is cooked out of it and it dry well that was pretty much the burrito I purchased To the point the meat was crunchy. It’s almost as if they looked for every single piece of Meat not fit to be served and put it in that one particular burrito! in a general sense I’m not fond of writing negative reviews that can impact the person‘s business and livelihood but in this case it’s unacceptable and as many burritos as I’ve eaten and prepared myself it almost seems intentional. I’ll say this. That’ll be the last $13 I spent at that place. That burrito was a disservice to every true restaurant tier in that type of franchise I’ve ever seen. I am utterly disgusted. You know I have an idea I’ll have someone order a burrito and then I’ll go order one and see how that turns out because there’s a theory I have and I want to see if it proves true. I’ll get back to you on it!

The truck was a bit hard to find. The beef birria was tender and delicious also a good portion. The chorizo Gordita was good, just add your choice of sauce. The birria ramen was delicious too.

Just before playing some volleyball with my volleyball friends, we wanted to grab a meal together for some bonding time. Following my friend’s recommendation we ended up at Neza Birrieria. To my surprise they actually had parking right in front of the truck, but I didn’t know, so I ended up parking on the street which was also pretty easy. Anyways, we ordered our food, including two birria tacos and quesadillas with the consomme. Everything was awesome. Nice bold flavors and rich broth were perfect. However, birria always has its drawbacks. It is always a bit too rich and salty to eat often, so maybe in a year, I will be back for some more food when I crave birria again. However, in a year, this is definitely the place I’d go back to.
