I’m going to preface this with I absolutely plan to give this another try, but will definitely not be ordering the same dish. This food truck was at a nightlife event I attended and someone mentioned they had a good fried chicken sandwich so I hopped in line. I ordered the spicy chicken sandwich with jack cheese. Right off the bat, portions were really good. This is a pretty large sandwich for the price. The bun was also higher quality and yummy. However, the spice on this thing is not for the faint of heart. I like spice. My partner is Latina and LOVES spice; they regularly like to get “spiced out”. Neither of us could take more than a couple bites of this sandwich. The chicken was juicy and flavorful, but the batter was thick and unbearable. I lathered some mayo on the leftovers (it was all I had) which helped a bit, but still couldn’t finish the sandwich. Next time I’ll get the regular version with pepper jack cheese and hit it with some hot sauce.

Unfortunately, our special day was ruined. The cashier was rude and unwelcoming, the burger was very dry, and no sauce was provided for the fries. We expected much better service and food quality, especially on a day like this.

Unfortunately, this was a very disappointing experience. The burger was extremely dry and had no sauce at all. We were also not given any sauce (not even ketchup) for the fries. On top of that, the cashier was very rude and unfriendly, which completely ruined the experience for our group. Definitely not coming back.😒

Ordered on Yelp for pickup, placed order for future pickup(40 mins later). Went to pickup and I got a text and email saying my order was ready on time, right as we were parking. I walked in and the lady was helping another customer but as soon as she was done with her she asked it I was there for pickup and I said I was and she handed me my order. Order was packed nicely in the bag. Ordered 2 fried chicken sandwich meals, one regular and one spicy with waffle fries and cokes. Also got a side or Mac and cheese. Portion size is great. The chicken was moist and flavorful. For the spicy, it's just the sauce that makes it spicy, and it was not super spicy but decent heat. Waffle fries were good. Mac and cheese was also good but didn't try that till after finishing sandwich and fries so it got a little cold, but that my own fault.

I'm a big fan of fried chicken so i really enjoyed Respectable Bird's chicken pieces and fried chicken sandwich. Juicy on the inside and crispy on the outside. The waffle fries were also to die for. Will be back when I'm in the area. You also have to get their churros!
