Hefty Gyros is part of our lunch experience. Hot fresh and delicious! Prices are great! The truck is clean and organized!!! I was also impressed with the guy letting us know we could have a mixed plate gyro and chicken!! Loved it! The food was amazing.

If you see the Hefty Gyros' fire engine red food truck about town, check them out. They serve up hefty hefty hefty portions of Mediterranean food. The menu consist of gyros, falafel, chicken, pita, hummus, salads, and fries. Did I mention the portion sizes are hefty?! They literally pile on the food. I ordered a chicken plate. Whoa. In one container they literally piled it on... rice, chicken, salad, fries, and pita with hummus spread already on it. Plus they are heavy handed with the white sauce. Sure the portions were huge. But my food was assembled like a Dagwood sandwich minus the bread, in layers. Saucy dressed layers. Not how I like to eat a non sandwich meal. But great for a gyro. The flavors were terrific though. Moist grilled chicken slices. Fries were hot n crispy for a hot minute, same with the cool crisp salad before the blend of layers of taste crept in which didn't take long. My salad got lost in the layers and I couldn't distinguish that stand alone flavor.

A wonderful surprise bumping into Hefty Gyros at the Oktober Fest in Pulmas Lake. Im no stranger to this restuarant's quality, so it was a no brainer to skip the other food trucks and order something worth my money 💰. Dallas promptly explained everything on the menu and even enticed me to try the baklava. Thanks!

The service here is phenomenal, the guys here take care of you quickly and in an amazing manner. I don’t even get me started on the food. This will be my second time ordering the Hefty Fries and they are absolutely divine. Absolutely massive portion sizing for a great price. Enough for myself and my girlfriend to share and have some left over! I can’t recommend this place enough. It’s going to be my new Saturday lunch spot!! Come check them out every Saturday and Sunday at the Folsom Premium Outlet Mall!!
