We used Blue Pumpkin to cater a birthday party. They showed up on time. Set up was quick. The service was awesome! Everyone raved about how good the food was. Especially the blue lemonade!!! I must say it was delicious!!! I will definitely use them again.

If you like to eat and are a soul food lover, then you want to find Blue Pumpkin. Babay, let me tell you. Those oxtails had me in a chokehold just hearing they were on the menu. I can't eat much in a sitting so I usually eat off a normal plate at least twice. Last Sunday was no different. All I had to add to my plate was a fork and my teeth. The Oxtails & Rice showed their tail off. The Sweet Potatoes were "yam" Good 🫣😂 The Cabbage was all THAT & a bag of chips. No complaints, except after eating and taking my meds, the meds kicked in expeditiously and working with the Oxtails, I was reduced to a unanimous TKO for the rest of the night. I woke up when my alarm went off at 6:30 to find my lights were STILL on and my window blinds were WIDE Open. Oh yeah, did the same thing Monday when I went to finish my plate off but I got finished off instead. Like DJ Khaled, "Another One", TKO 😂 You can tell that The Blue Pumpkin takes pride in her food. She cooked and served with Love and you can see how she's anointed her truck with scripture, giving all Glory and Honor to God written in various places in/on her truck. Whenever I'm able and can get to The Blue Pumpkin, I'm sure to get me a plate of that Good food. This lady is an angel that just happens to be a loving person and an excellent cook. Check her out. There are other items on her menu. She doesn't just serve soul food. Check her out for other Great American food items. I swear pictures don’t do the food justice!! I got the oxtail plate ( came with 2 sides) and a side of sweet potatoes. I didn’t expect the food to be this good! I have zero complaints and I’ll be back

I ordered the 3-piece catfish with a baked potato and it comes with drink. The catfish was fried to perfection and seasoned well. The baked potato was filled with broccoli, cheese, chives and bacon. You can get the potato fixed the way you like it. They cook food fresh so you may want to call ahead. Blue Pumpkin is a food truck so you may want to ask where they are located so that you can go to the correct location. Bring cash or access to cash app for payment.
