The food here is terrible, this is not soul food, I ate here and it was very nasty. I also ordered a hot dog it wasn't even boiled it was cold and they put it in the microwave ?? I heard the microwave and thats the only thing i ordered im pregnant and got sick after this im highly disgusted.

I am so sorry you feel as though you had a bad experience however I took and made your order even though we were not open. . As the owner I remember You ordered a $5.00 hot dog kids meal and asked for it chicago style. I grilled it on the griddle as we do all of our hot dogs. We do not boil them here.. You asked for tomato and cheese as well as jalapeno on it which I added no extra charge. I melted butter for the sweet potato you requested instead of tots. And a cup of mac and cheese. I also asked if you needed anything before I left and your only request was mayonnaise. If there was an issue I wish you would of said something. As a small business owner that went out of my way to accomodate your requests this is so disheartening. I wish more people would talk to someone before they take it to the internet. And honestly I would of deep fried your hot dog before I microwaved it ewww.

Friends, I was originally planning to take photos for my review, but everything looked and smelled so enticing as it came out, the werewolf came upon me and we had to dig in! We'll definitely be back soon! The birria tacos were perfect - tortillas were dipped, fried to an amazing crunch with gooey cheese that had crisped up where it melted out the edges, and nice savory consomme to dip in. The star was the 8 piece friend chicken meal - easily the best fried chicken I've had in New England. The shell was perfect! The chicken, juicy and flavorful. We picked out two large (gigantic!) sides and it included fluffy cornbread/cake. Our family of 4 feasted like royalty, and we have quite the cache of delicious leftovers for the week to come! The lemonade was clearly homemade and wonderfully balanced. It came in what were essentially gigantic capri-sun pouches. Our girls loved them (and were unable to spill them!). The quality and fresh, skillful preparation are the stars, but ALSO a phenomenal value at an amazing price.

Kendra was great to work with for my function. He space is clean and she is accommodating. Price is affordable. Private function space was able to bring in own food however they do offer catering and or just coffee service. A wonderful experience will book again. They do a lot for the community and will work with you to make your event affordable.

I cannot actually remember how I learned of Soel Sistas. I suspect it was during COVID and they were assisting in the community. While my son and family were visiting a couple of weeks ago, he wanted a party for his friends who were in town. I picked Soel Sistas to cater it based on the vibe and the selection. It was amazing! That smoked/baked pork shoulder was magical. I do not think I have ever tasted any meat, anywhere that was better. I don't usually allow myself fried chicken, but this was fantastic. The crust was so light, and the meat was perfect! Giant Mac and Cheese. They ate every bit. And I do not know what they do with their cornbread but, it was outstanding. I am so glad I had this food for the party. I picked this up and it was ready, right-on time. They were on their way to cater a wedding, but they helped me to get all the food into my car. It was an absolute win on every count. I will return.

The food is amazing! I got the soul plate with the smothered pork chop, sweet potato, and Mac and cheese. My husband got the soul plate with fried chicken, green beans, and Mac and cheese. Everything was delicious. We will definitely be back!
