Looking for a new truck and this place did not disappoint. Fresh made and friendly staff. My Spanish isn't great but the lady was very helpful. Me and my fam will definitely be back. Definitely come if your really hungry cause these plate sizes are very generous. Thank you ladies it was so good ☺️🫶🏽

Pupusas are so delicious! 9/10. they are a little thinner than other pupusas i’ve had but the flavor is really good. salsa is on the spicy side, and i love that. curtido is a 7/10 for me.

If you’re looking for authentic Salvadorian food in Modesto, Pupuseria Garcia is a must-visit. Everything tastes homemade and full of flavor you can tell the care that goes into every dish. We started with a refreshing horchata, then tried their pupusas, traditional Salvadorian breakfast, chicharrón con yuca, tacos, atol de elote (my favorite), and a delicious tamal. Each dish was perfectly cooked and seasoned. For dessert, the plátano con lecherita is a must-try for anyone with a sweet tooth. The portions are generous, the staff is friendly, and the place has a welcoming atmosphere that feels like home. Definitely one of the best Salvadorian restaurants in California. Highly recommend.

The food is really good. I love yucca and chicharron, so getting the combination was perfect. The horchata was amazing too, in my opinion. It’s very different from Mexican horchata though so you may not like it if that what you’re used to. But I loved it.
