Honestly, I was disappointed with my dinner. This was a real poor imitation of Jerk food. I should’ve acknowledged it was false advertising when I didn’t smell a smoker or grill, the food was oven roasted and saturated in seasonings and spices. The chicken was slimy and tasted of nothing but NUTMEG! I’m from Chicago area and this was not authentic jerk food. The Rasta pasta lacked meat and tasted like nothing but nutmeg and high cholesterol creole seasoning. The macaroni was mediocre to say the least. Also the reviews have to be family and affiliates because I know real jerk and this was not yummy.

Food Critic’s Honest opinion First off the Vibe/Atmosphere is 10/10 Service is always 10/10 Culture 10/10 The food …. 🤦🏽‍♂️ it’s incredible!! The season is seasoned !! I mean it’s absolutely 💯% Worth whatever you you spend. I got the oxtails only the 1st visit. The oxtails only are seasoned well. Flavorful, tender, fatty, rice and peas are seasoned well and rice is cooked perfectly. Not dry, it’s a perfect combo with the cabbage or Mac n cheese. I got brown stew chicken the second visit and it was flavorful as well. And cooked perfectly. Chicken seasoned well. I myself will put a little of the stew gravy on my rice n peas. Trust me! Try it I got Jerk Oxtail Pasta the third visit and this is the one that got me !!! I thought ok everything been good so far so I know this will. But I wasn’t prepared for it at all!! BUMBA CLOT!! This was by far the best dish I’ve had at any Jamaican, Soul Food, Seafood, Burger, Pizza, Mexican, or Chinese restaurant that I’ve ever been to in my life. And I know Flavor!! This had me so full, couldn’t stop eating it til it was gone. If food was a drug!! This would fentanyl. Or whatever is the strongest drug. I got the Jerk Chicken pasta today, the fourth visit. Which is the day after I got the oxtail pasta. It was so good I had to run it back the next day. It was just as good as the oxtail pasta just chicken!! But to me oxtails taste better than chicken. Nonetheless I almost didn’t make it after this one. I was so full I could barely talk! I wanted to drink something but felt like if I did everything would come back out. lol sorry. But maaaan I’m telling you. They got the flavor here. They have the aura! The vibe! The Love!! You can’t just hear about it you have to experience it!! Check em out Food 10/10 like oh boy say , argue wit ya mama!! ya hear me!!

I was excited to come here.since i didn’t know what i would like, I ordered the jerk chicken pasta and I ordered the three piece jerk chicken with the jerk gravy with a side of Mac and cheese. The Mac and cheese was ok I did not like the jerk pasta it tasted like it was made with cinnamon or nutmeg it just tasted like something didn’t belong The chicken was baked in a gravey it was more salty then flavorful and it had some similar taste like nutmeg but it did not taste like authentic jerk chicken I did like the cabbage and rice and peas.

This my second time coming here, and i must say they never upset me. The first visit i got the large oxtail plate. This visit i got the curry chicken, white rice, and cabbage it was so good. The food was fresh and well seasoned. I still have half of my plate, i thought i ate majority but nope still have a full plate. I highly recommend, I had to come here since i won’t be back home until next year. 🇯🇲

My family and I enjoyed the restaurant. The cashier was friendly and did not mind explaining the meal choices to us. Our meals were similar. We had oxtails, jerk pasta and cabbage. The oxtails and chicken were good. The pasta was a little too salty for us. The cabbage was softer than I like cooked. Overall, we enjoyed our visit.
