Food is good. Turning into this place from the road is really tricky and you have to be very careful. Parking is really hard. Weekends are worse between 7-10 pm. If you want to enjoy peacefully, try to come before 7:30 pm. Heavy traffic and orders will be delayed.Picnic benches are good for family and friends .

Yesterday I visited Golconda Express Bandi near Virginia Parkway, and it has become one of my favorite food trucks. I usually order their Munta Masala, and it never disappoints. This time, I asked the person to add a little lemon, and he was very friendly and accommodating. He prepared it perfectly, and the lemon really enhanced the flavor. It tasted fresh, authentic, and full of spice — exactly how a proper Munta Masala should be. Honestly, I’ve become a fan of it! We also tried the Punugulu and chicken noodles, which were good as well, but the Munta Masala was definitely the highlight for me. Great taste, friendly service, and authentic street food flavors. I’ll definitely keep coming back!

This seems to be their largest location with both vegetarian and non vegetarian trucks separate and good lighting and plenty of seating. We ordered medium spicy double egg Hakka noodles and apparently it always takes 45 minutes to make it. So make sure to reach this place before you are hungry. Spice levels are a bit high since it is supposed to be street style food. It’s better to order one spice level less than you normally eat.

Serious Food Safety Concerns We recently visited Golconda Express in Frisco and ordered fried rice, noodles, and a chaat. While the food tasted good and the place was quite happening, what we experienced afterward was extremely disappointing and concerning. We found a metal burr (a sharp foreign object - identifiable as a part of utensil scrubber) in our food. This was shocking and raises serious questions about the restaurant’s food safety and kitchen hygiene practices. During our visit, we also noticed that basic safe handling practices—like wearing gloves and head covers—were not being followed inside the kitchen/cooking area. What made the situation even worse was the response from management. When we reported the incident, they asked us to text them a picture of the metal piece—yet after sending it, they never responded, not even after three days. This lack of care shows a troubling, taken-for-granted attitude and a lethargic approach toward customer safety. Good food alone isn’t enough. Restaurants have a responsibility not just to make a profit, but to respect the health and lives of the people they serve. Unsafe practices like this deserve attention from health and safety authorities. I truly hope they take this feedback seriously and correct these issues for the well-being of everyone who dines there.

We went to Golkonda Xpress in McKinney in the evening. The vibe was nice, outdoor seating and lights were great. We ordered Sev Puri, Veg Hakka Noodles with chili garlic sauce, and Veg Manchurian Fried Rice. The noodles were extremely spicy even after asking for Indian spicy level, and the Manchurian fried rice didn’t taste like Indo-Chinese at all. The Sev Puri was disappointing, nowhere close to the real taste. Maybe their other dishes are better, but for the price they charge, the quality really needs improvement. They should have a professional chef who knows authentic Indian flavors.
