I don’t live in NYC, but whenever I visit I stop here to get my favorite chicken over rice! Of all the food places, I go out of my way to come here. I’ve carried this tradition for years and for years the consistency of this truck has remained the same, likely even better; perfect price for delicious food with an “A” rating from the city. I paid 13 dollars for the combo over rice (with a can). There are several other trucks along this stretch of road, but this one is the winner. Try it out and let us know what you think.

Halal truck open late daily, year-round. The food tastes great but sometimes triggers gastro issues for some people. Bot sure if its due to the spice level or how the food is prepared. During off hours they park a van to reserve their spot, so you know they'll always be there!

MASHALLAH HELLO! these folks have done right by my family and i with their packed and flavorful platters for YEARS. they take card, but cash is preferred. they are kind and very generous with the portions. if you’re going to eat it later and want to microwave it, they will gladly give you the sauce on the side. all the platters come with salad, a falafel, and french fries! go to: combo over rice with white sauce, bbq sauce, and extra hot sauce! parking is horrible in this area, but there’s a metered parking lot of steinway that you can park in; do not double park you will get ticketed! had to include a photo for reference; the platter was so TALL the photo does not do it justice. they are extremely clean and really treat the chicken over rice game like it’s no joke! thank you habiba food truck team!

Food is overall great. A lot of protein and veggies, super flavorful! The only downside if at all is weird color of the green sauce that is bright green and feels very artificial. Would be so much better with less food coloring! It makes the food less appetizing!

Most of the gyro carts are nasty, unhygienic and awful. However Habiba truck Halal Food Cart is exceptional. Ultra need n clean Their food is very delicious with variety options. We came here twice, each times we ordered chicken, lamb or mixed gyro. Superb
