Slightly disappointed as we were really looking forward to visiting all of the food trucks. I had an awesome fruit smoothie, THE BEST BANANA BREAD ON THE PLANET from Mom's Bakery (Seven Brothers), and some incredible Philly cheesesteak eggrolls from this woman at this pop up tent. However for actual lunch food, I couldn't find any food truck that appealed to me or my family. I was looking for more of a traditional Hawaiian mixed plate truck (meat, Mac salad, white rice) and to my surprise nobody really did that besides da bald guy but his truck closed at 2p (right about the time we got there). It was also super spread out, there were like 3 separate areas with food trucks with three different parking lots. Hard to know where to go/start. Recommend researching in advance which ones are there and which one up want to go to because you can't really walk around to see them all at once.

Giovanni’s Shrimp Truck & Smoothies – A Must-Stop Flavor Explosion on the North Shore As we drove along the scenic Kamehameha Highway through Kahuku, the aroma and buzz around the famous Giovanni’s Shrimp Truck pulled us right in—and let me tell you, it absolutely lives up to the hype. We ordered two plates of their legendary garlic shrimp with rice, and wow… we were blown away. The shrimp were perfectly cooked, drenched in buttery garlic goodness, and packed with flavor. Each plate came with generous portions—plenty to share with our family of four, and not a single bite was wasted. Right next to the shrimp truck was Giovanni’s Smoothies and Shave Ice Truck, and we couldn’t resist cooling off with a couple of their refreshing smoothies. We chose: • Coconut & Pineapple – tropical, creamy, and super refreshing • Coconut & Banana – rich, smooth, and just sweet enough Both smoothies were delicious and made the perfect pairing after the savory shrimp. This stop is a must if you’re doing a food crawl or a Circle Island Tour. Whether you’re a foodie or just hungry from a beach day, Giovanni’s is an iconic experience that brings local flavor and aloha spirit in every bite and sip. Don’t just hear about the rave—live it. You’ll be glad you did.

Quite a few trucks to choose from. We ate at the Thai food truck, and the yellow curry was good. There was another food truck right next to it, serving a mix of Asian & American food. We got the fish chips, which was pretty good. Friendly service, reason prices. Clean outdoor seating.
