We’ve been waiting to try this place at their stand alone location, and the experience did not disappoint. I’m sorry I couldn’t even get a picture of the food on the plate, because it was just that good. In fact, we even went back and ordered more food, despite being stuffed… once again too good to grab a picture before it was gone. We started with the Poohbah seafood boil. The crab was perfect. When I mean perfect, you could crack a leg open and slide the meat out in one piece. The perfect doneness. Even the shrimp was a beautiful size, deveined properly, and cooked to the correct doneness. The seasoning, the potatoes, the corn… all perfectly done. This is the best seafood I’ve ever had in Jacksonville. After devouring this we went back in and ordered fried catfish, fried oysters, and a strawberry passion lemonade. The catfish was also perfect; the crust was crispy but the fish was still extremely moist with the right doneness. You could squeeze the crust and feel a crunch and see the moisture ooze out of the fish. The oysters were the same perfect doneness. I normally despise fried seafood, because it’s generally overcooked everywhere we go, but at the Spot it was perfect. The strawberry lemonade was refreshing and had actual chunks of strawberry in it. The staff were phenomenal and checked on us multiple times while we sat outside devouring our meal, ensuring we were satisfied with our food. This was such a phenomenal experience, and definitely worth the visit. The spot puts every other Jacksonville seafood establishment to shame. We will be reoccurring customers.

WOW. If you want flavor, this is the place. What you see in the pictures is exactly what you taste—bold, fresh, and absolutely amazing. We’re already planning to come back. Those egg rolls? OMG. 🔥 We missed out on dessert this time, but we’ll be back before it sells out next time for sure. Do yourself a favor and try this place—you will not be disappointed!

This will always be my go to Spot when it comes to seafood boils in Onslow County. You know it's going to be tasty when it comes out in an aluminum tray. Seasoned perfectly, and the serving sizes are more than you can put down but you're going to do it anyway. You can eat inside, they have a TV and play music while you're dining in. It's a vibe. If you can't eat at the restaurant don't miss their food truck when they come to your town. Repeat customer!

I missed the pop-up in Greensboro, so when I came to New Bern, I knew I had to make the short trip to Jacksonville. We took our family of three here for dinner to celebrate my dads birthday and The Spot was a total hit! From the moment we walked up to order, the staff made us feel welcome — super friendly and patient with our questions! The seafood was fresh, perfectly seasoned, and flavorful — especially the shrimp and crab legs. The portions were generous — more than enough for the three of us — and everything was cooked just right. The Spot Florida Style Seafood The vibe is casual and relaxed, which was great for a family meal. The seasoning had a nice Cajun kick but wasn’t too spicy, so it was enjoyable for all ages. The Spot Florida Style Seafood is now one of our go-to places for seafood in Jacksonville — flavorful food, friendly service, and a fun, family-friendly atmosphere. We’ll definitely be back! 🦐🦀

Came to The Spot after randomly stumbling across their tiktok and immediately took a drive down. We were greeted at the door and TRUST their food is just as good as it looks. I got the Snow seafood boil and oysters. The food was perfectly seasoned and cooked. So tasteful! Not to mention their special sauce. Whenever you get a chance be sure to check them out you won’t regret it!
