I had to admit, the first time the wife & I came here for lunch it was extremely packed (as it usually is) and they gave us the little buzzer that indicated our food was ready, we where told id be about 10-15 minutes but we waited about 25 & noticed it never buzzed. So I walked up to ask if my food was ready and they said I'd had been ready for 10 minutes but that the buzzer didn't respond as we where parked all the way in the corner. We went for a second time because the Food was extremely delicious ๐Ÿ˜‹๐Ÿ‘, & we noticed they had now moved the truck to the spot where we had parked. Completely fixing the issue we had the first time. I always order the Al pastor tacos ๐ŸŒฎ ALWAYS on point & delicious! Packed with flavor! (Add mozzarella cheese to the tortilla!!) ๐Ÿ˜› You'll thank me later lol. My wife normally gets the chicken quesadilla or the same tacos as my self. They normally give plenty of limes & salsas (but ask for more just in case) Aside from that our second experience here definitely made up for last time ! So 5 โญโญโญโญโญ I'd say! ๐Ÿ˜Š One of the best taco trucks in Spring Branch !! I would of took a picture of the final product be We where way too hungry atm and those tacos where gone in minutes ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿคฆ. Do be aware (breakfast tacos) end extremely early like around 11pm. But mostly anything can replace them if you don't make it in time ๐Ÿ™‚

My first time there and the tacos were great. They give you a beeper to let you know when your order is ready. El Gran Pastor is definitely my new go to spot.

Aren't new relationships just THE BEST!? You can't get enough of one another and they haven't gotten sick of hearing you breathe yet. You know eventually they're just gonna call you a POS and start feeding their tacos to someone else, but that is future Kyle's problem. Today we feast and make happy noises while we chew. And dance and be twitterpated because we just fell in love with a new taco truck! I see a lot of folks on Social Media out there trying to find "the best" tacos in Houston. That's just silly. All tacos are awesome. But there are a handful that are just a little more awesomer. And I realize that I'm a little late to the party, but holy gwakamoleeโ„ข @taqueriaelgranpastor goes on the Freaking Awesomer List! Do they have Trompo? Heck yeah they have Trompo! Are they Open for Breakfast AND Open Late? Heck yeah they are Open for Breakfast AND Open Late! Can Kyle walk there from his house? Heck yeah Kyle can walk there from his house! I've eaten there four times in the last week! Breakfast tacos - awesome. Pastor - awesome. Suadero - awesome.ย Agua Frescas - awesome. The truck sits in a good-sized lot that's packed with cars during prime time. They have a pager system or will take your phone number to contact you when your order is ready if you want to wait in your car. There is a covered area with a flat screen showing futbol and some picnic tables if you wanna just hang there and stuff yo mouf! But you guys will be happy to know that the truck and I have agreed to have an open relationship and you are all free to shoot your shot and get summa them delishes tacos in your faces. (And by "agreed" I mean I was told in no uncertain terms that I would not be the only one getting those tasty tacos and I would just have to deal with it or get nothing at all. Such is my life.)

I stopped by late night and ordered a gringa, fajita burrito, and agua de jamaica. The gringa was so delicious that they deserve 5 stars off that taco alone. Heavenly. I would return and order 3 of those with no hesitation. If you eat pork, do yourself a favor and get the pastorโ€”itโ€™s in the name ;) The burrito was large and pretty good, but honestly was totally outshone by the pastor. Agua was pretty good as well. Their prices are some of the best Iโ€™ve seen: $2 tacos, $6 burrito, $2 agua. They have a deal where you can get 3 tacos and an agua for $6. Great value!

The tacos here are really good! Iโ€™ll definitely get them whenever Iโ€™m in the area. The meat was savory and tasty and the cilantro and onions complemented the tacos well. The only thing is that there were 2 green sauces and the super green one was too spicy! The darker green one was okay.
