This makes me happy to see. Love the food truck culture and the tables set up. It’s really charming. I hope Downtown continues to grow and stay safe. A lot of nice families live here.

This food festival is amazing! It runs every Saturday from 5:00 to 10:00 and features a great variety of food trucks. The organizer does an incredible job keeping everything running smoothly and making sure vendors are set up on time. Every truck I tried had amazing food—I honestly couldn’t complain about anything. There’s something for everyone, and the overall vibe is fun and welcoming. It’s just unfortunate that there seem to be issues with the management at the Hemet Theater, which might cause the festival to move to a new location. That would be a real shame, but hopefully it continues somewhere else because it’s definitely worth checking out.

I went once and loved it..if I had any requests I wish it was on delivery apps for just that day or night cause it starts like at 5 goes tell around 10 I believe and although I had good time I don't have car no more just my mobility scooter so I won't go out at dark so now I can't go get the good.. good ..food for good price on Saturday I'm so sad...but if ya can go check them out when I went there was I think 5 trucks maybe 6 so there options maybe also more now...it was like in April I went and wasn't there long could be others still coming n but yeah I hope in future that option available

From what I read, the Hemet Food Truck Festival started April 12, 2025, and has been here every Saturday after, from 5 PM to 10 PM. 🚚 We discovered it 6 months later after the No Kings Day celebration October 18, and found it buzzing with activity and full tables. We are glad to see the town has sustained this event 🎉 We returned today, National Greasy Foods Day, which is celebrated every October 25 and fell on Saturday this year. Valerie's apples make me wish I could tolerate dairy - they look yummy and spooky, and they also have churros! 🍎🍏👻 National Caramel Apple Day falls on Halloween too 🎃👀 Social media posts showed a Vegan food truck which we hope will return for us to try; we understand there are different trucks each week. For a vegetarian option, we had Papas & Corn both visits. Hubs tried the Hot Cheeto corn. He enjoyed it, and the cautious bite I took was tasty 🌽😋 I had my roasted corn with just mayo and green onions (since they are an option for the potatoes), and it was also really tasty and the onions stayed on surprisingly well 👍 Special K Lemonade was another must-try. I got a Lavender lemonade, hubs a Honey Mango lemonade. They were out of the hydration boosters so we went with energy. Another patron said she orders a different lemonade every time which is likely to become our habit as well, given the many refreshing flavors on the menu 🍋 We didn't see the lemonade stand on our second visit, so we ordered Agua Frescas with our corn - Mango & Pineapple for hubs, Passionfruit with Dragonfruit for me, both refreshing. We hope the Hemet Food Truck Festival is here to stay. Convenient for takeout, or to linger and mingle. Well done, Wanderlust! 👏 (Side note, as it is located in downtown Hemet, I would like to see this event grow, with a Farmer's Market continuing down the street as there once was in the past).
