This place is the definition of a great hometown pub—friendly, cozy, and always lively. The staff make you feel like a regular, whether it's your first visit or your fiftieth. They’ve got a rotating selection of beer on tap that always keeps things interesting, and if beer’s not your thing, definitely try a wine slushie—they’re a fun, refreshing change of pace. You can also grab a bottle of wine from the fridge for your table, which feels easygoing and relaxed. If you get hungry, the food truck menu is the exact kind of food you’d want to go with your drinks. You can sit at the bar or a table inside, but the outside is nice in any type of weather. It’s covered and has plenty of seating arrangements to fit your party’s needs. When you visit, sign up for the text messages regarding what’s planned for each week. What really makes The Thirsty Pig stand out is the atmosphere—there’s almost always something fun happening, from live music to trivia nights and other community events. The mug club is totally worth it if you’re a regular, and it just adds to the welcoming, local vibe. If you want a happy place to unwind with good people, The Thirsty Pig always delivers.

Do you like good beer? Do you like friendly people? Do you like live music and trivia? Do you like comfortable, covered, heated/cooled outdoor seating? Do you like quality, delicious bar food? OF COURSE YOU DO! That's why the Thirsty Pig ("The Pig" to locals) is a must-visit when you're in Dothan. Plenty of close parking, awesome people and really chill vibes. Pet friendly! Love the Pig and the Pig will love you! No visit to Dothan is complete without a stop at the Thirsty Pig!

The craft beer selections here are outstanding. The barbecue is excellent. The flavor combinations are awesome. I had the pulled pork Tacos. The balance between the sweet and tangy, the mild heat, and the texture was perfect. They have hard Ciders on tap. They have many wine selections as well. If your in town, and enjoy barbecue, do yourself a favor and stop in.

Awesome tap room! The ladies are super knowledgeable and offered a tasting of what is now one of my favorite brews! Trivia here is a blast, get there early though because the place fills up fast! Absolutely love the vibe, this is a great place to hang out and everyone is always super nice and chill.
