Not sure who it is that hates this place, but my experience was great. I’m from NYC, and that chopped cheese lists on my top 10 of all sandwiches. Granted, not traditional, who cares. Fresh, delicious, and that crispy hollowed out bread was to die for. I’d assume the busy weekends with annoying kids running around drags down the reviews. Great food as far as I can tell.

Wow so many bad reviews! I have another bad experience to report. The fries were$10 and were total burnt trash. More than half the fries were less than an inch long and burned. I asked for a replacement and they said no since I ate a few of the fries. Why almanac lets them sell here is baffling.

Scolari's food truck serves up seriously tasty burgers with a couple of quirks that keep it from perfection. The classic cheeseburger hits all the right notes - perfectly toasted bun, quality cheese, sharp red onions, and fresh ingredients throughout. The execution is spot-on, but here's the catch: this thing is so impossibly tall you'll need to perform burger compression surgery just to take a bite. Not exactly the smooth eating experience you want. The fries are the real MVP here - golden, crispy, and seasoned just right. They stay crunchy even as they cool, which is no small feat. Now for the reality check: $7 for fries feels like food truck highway robbery, and the burger prices match that premium tier. Sure, limited competition in the area probably drives these prices, but it stings when you're calculating cost per bite. Bottom line - the food quality is genuinely impressive with fresh ingredients and solid technique. Just wish they'd make their burgers human-mouth compatible and ease up on the wallet damage. Tasty? Absolutely. Worth the premium? That depends on how much you value convenience over value.

I visited Scolari's Good Eats on February 13, 2024, and found their burgers to be very good, though they leaned a little toward the pricier side. The flavors and quality ingredients made each bite worthwhile, leaving a positive impression overall. The food truck is situated at the Almanac Beer Co., which is a great location to enjoy a meal with drinks. However, it was quite busy when we went for dinner, so it was lucky we snagged a spot at the bar. Despite the bustling atmosphere, the energy added to the experience, making it a lively and enjoyable evening. For those looking for a quality burger and a vibrant setting to pair it with a good beer, Scolari's Good Eats at the Almanac Beer Co. is worth checking out, just be prepared for a crowd during peak hours.

The blueberry burger is my go to. But this time, the patty was over seasoned, and I think the blueberry's where bad. No sweetness at all tastes almost sour. I ate at 3pm. Kept drinking beer, and threw up the burger at 10pm. Probably not going back to the truck.
