I enjoyed the old food truck location on whiskey road, but it was definitely a fair weather stop for me. I was glad to hear they were opening a place downtown, where the Palmetto Seafood, and the Proper Plate used to be. It's next to What's Cookin. I tried it and was glad to see they kept their food quality. You won't find a multi page menu. Their fare remains street tacos, tamales, and enchiladas. All of which are very good. One complaint I always had about enchiladas was they were by far mostly masa, with very little filling. The enchiladas I got here were large with ample filling. Plenty of indoor seating eliminates the South Carolina weather effect. Service is fast and friendly. Ordering is like What's Cooking, place your orderat the door and take a number. It works well. Prices are very reasonable. I almost (almost) hesitate to recommend this place because I don't want it to be so popular I can't get a seat. But integrity wins out. If you like Mexican street food, this place is a good place to look.

I gave 5 stars for everything else, but their prices are still too high. NO MILITARY OR FIRST RESPONDER DISCOUNTS...really. I love helping and supporting food truckies. They are my favorite by far Mexican. I need to try more. I just hate that they charge extra for LETTUCE! REALLY? I never got a receipt or asked if I wanted it. But next time I post pics on how much I spend here for 1 person. EXPENSIVE. At Jarochos I can get 4 steak tacos with lettuce and a small(more like medium size) guac and a drink for like $21. I stopped going to Jarochos because they're tacos were full of small bones and fatty, prices fluctuated with no reason and they never explained. Dollars add up, but I still will come to Dos Potrillos to support good quality service and food. Can't wait for the brick and mortar. Not sure if they have it up and running yet.im definitely gonna try more dishes since they seem to be very consistent with flavor here. I love trying new foods and so far this is my favorite Mexican restaurant spot!

This is some of the best tacos I’ve had in my life. The owner was super nice and friendly, the atmosphere is very welcoming with some bomb food. I wish I lived here so I could come everyday to eat here :)

This food truck hits 5 stars on all levels! Amazing AUTHENTIC Mexican food. Fresh with multiple options. There’s a condiment bar to choose your salsas and toppings and the most friendly customer service you’ll find anywhere. Get the Birria & pineapple water! You won’t regret it.
